“The Hobbit: The Third Season”, which is based on the third book in J.R.
R Tolkien’s “The Lord of the Rings” series, is the second Hobbit film, following 2015’s “Hobbit: Journey to the West”, which was directed by Peter Jackson.
The BBC said it would be “in the public interest to show the whole webcast in one go, and will continue to do so.”
The “Hollywood blockbuster” hit the big screen in 2012 and has been hailed by critics as one of the greatest “Journey” films ever made.
The movie has been praised for its “creative” portrayal of Middle-earth and its depiction of the rise and fall of a man named Frodo Baggins, who was played by actor Peter Mayhew.
